Non-bleed Standard card image area is:
3 1/8" x 5 1/8" or 3.125" x 5.125"
Non-bleed Jumbo card image area is:
5 1/8" x 6 5/8" or 5.125" x 6.625"
Bleeds are available upon request only.

Color - Message side will be 2-color or 4-color based on your Insertion Order. Standard reply sides print black only. Color reply side available by quote.

Digital Files Required - PC based native applications files preferred. Additional charges may be incurred for other platforms or files that require digital file manipulation. Electronic files accepted in InDesign, Illustrator, Quark and Photoshop formats. Include all fonts, logos and linked artwork. All artwork must be in CMYK mode and saved as TIF, EPS, X1-A PDF. All files and images must be a minimum of 300 dpi (resolution) at actual size.

Accepted Media - SIT or ZIP files sent via our FTP site. Color Calibration - CMYK, SWOP Uncoated standards.

Reply Side Formats (back of card) - Courtesy & Business Reply Mail

Reply Side Formats - Some advertisers choose to use both sides for advertising purposes. However, for better response, we suggest a "Business Reply Mail" or “Courtesy Reply Mail” format. When mailing postcards in card packs, the United States Postal Service has strict regulations and requirements. Our familiarity with these requirements and regulations allows us to offer creation of a reply side at no additional cost to you. Contact our creative services team today for details.

Courtesy Reply Mail (Place Stamp Here) - Postage is paid by the person returning the card. A permit is not required. However, the complete ZIP+ 4, barcode and FIM must be supplied. If you are unsure of your full zip code, please contact your local post office.

Business Reply Mail - A permit must be purchased from your local post office. The permit holder is assigned a unique ZIP+ 4. QBRM (Qualified Business Reply Mail) postcards that meet all USPS specifications are billed at 26¢ per return, whereas non-compliant cards are billed at 40¢ each. Call your local Post Office for full details (rates do change from time to time and may vary depending on location). Use of Machalek Communications’ BRM is available. Contact us for details.

Please include publication name, issue date, company/advertiser name, phone number, list of contents, address for return of materials (if needed).
